This group has a great number of chef’s. I’m curious on how it all breaks out.

Me: single so I do all the cooking. I tend to do the majority of cooking when I have guests over although many/most of my guests are also great in the kitchen/on the grill so a lot of things are shared.

Both of us … although our styles couldn’t be much more different.

No comment on who’s I prefer [whistle2.gif]

I am for special dishes and when there are guests. My wife bakes once in a while and prepares salads whenever she feels like it - which is not that often. The rest of the time the cook prepares our meals.

I cook everything except breakfasts and baking, which Carollee does.

I do the more elaborate dishes and almost always when we have company. She’s good with most weeknight dinners.

I am the head line cook and Kristi is the baker.

Both of us. I usually do the baking because I enjoy it and Steve hates to bake, but he’s an excellent (and very intuitive) home cook.

Some things I do and some things she does. Its about 50-50.

John

Exactly the same for us. Ashley enjoys baking, whereas I have no patience for measuring.

I do most of the cooking by default. I work for myself and have a flexible schedule most of the time. My wife is an excellent cook though.

Interesting. I voted Melissa as the chef, with me (very comfortably) playing the sous-chef (and plongeur) role. Except for grilling, of course - that’s a guy thang.

When i was in a relationship, I did the majority of the cooking and baking (although, I don’t really like baking)…now that I am single, i just mooch off others! Not a big fan of cooking for one.

You also do the shoe shopping and the decorating.

As for our house, I used to be the cook, then when my wife stopped working, she took over. She’s a recipe-follower, I’m not.

I do all the cooking, sans birthday cakes and other baked goodies, which my wife handles.

Carrie does all the cooking. She used to be a chef. In additon to a wide range of “standard fare,” Carrie usually does an “invent-a-meal” every other week when we get home late. They are always good but hard to duplicate. [good.gif]

Simlar to many others, i do the cooking adn the wife bakes. Once in a while she’ll make soup, baked ziti, pot roast, etc.

I do the cooking and the baking. And the cleanup, the laundry, the vacuuming, the garbage, the recycling . . .

I do most of the cooking except when we have guests. I don’t want to be recognized.

I have a dark past. (black and white)

I don’t have another bad word to say about MY wife. [emot-pwn.gif]

Hey, I live alone. Someone has to do it.
