Which Cru Beaujolais are you drinking?

2022 Yvon Metras Moulin-a-Vent

Pours a medium ruby with light red reflections. The nose is deeply perfumed, constantly evolving. High toned black fruit and cranberry, deeply floral, lifted anise. Palate has three dimensional crunchy red and black fruit. Long mineral finish, rhubarb. Quenching acidity and fine tannins.

Such a lovely wine. Enjoyed as a fun pairing with chorizo quesadillas, exemplified everything I love about Beaujolais – fresh, delicious, enchanting.
