Sorry for using the forum for checking up on orders, but I hope you saw my email doubling my Spring 2025 club allocation!
Edit: Actually, ignore that â just got a message from Jenn confirming! Awesome!
2023 Extradimensional Wine Co. Yeah! Chenin Blanc Brosseau Vineyard Chalone - USA, California, Central Coast, Chalone (4/1/2025)
Is Brosseau Vineyard the miracle here, or is it Kate and Hardy? I couldn't tell you which, but this is a miraculous wine. Aromatic, flavorful, and somehow both subtle and in-your-face at the same time.
Popped and poured, then enjoyed over two days. Green apples, a hint of citrus, and burnt sugar on the nose. The palate is everything I want from an Extradimensional chenin - unctuous mouthfeel, zippy acidity, green apples, a lingering finish. What a stellar bottle.
(I am now sad to only have the one bottle. Tis better to have loved and lost, I suppose!) (95 points)
Canât add much of anything as the bottle we had last night celebrating a birthday was stellar! On the âdown to one bottleâ No worries. Hardy will surprise and delight you with future releases of this and other delicious wines!
Easily my favorite D&R/Yeah wine of all time.
Thank you, so much!!!
Whoa!!! Thank you for hanging on to this. I have a small stash of this tucked away and need to pop one this weekend. Canât wait to try it.
Thank you!!! The 23 is outrageous. Looking forward to releasing the 24 in Fall. About 2 months ago I popped a mini-vertical -
2019 (D&R)
2020 EWCY
(21 and 22 all went into Full King Crab due to low low yields)
2023 EWCY
All were showing
The 19 and 20 are starting to shed some baby fat and are just regal (and still super young) Brosseau is such a phenomenal site for Chenin.
Thank you, Tom!
Thank you. It is up there for me, too.

Is that 2020 EWCY the first Chendawg? That actually tracks pretty well - the mouthfeel and slight burnt-sugar/marshmallow thing came through in that very similarly to the 2023.
Is that 2020 EWCY the first Chendawg?
The Chendawg I was actually Mendo Chenin Blanc- I found more of that caramelized sugar in the Mendo fruit (much older vines). There was also a 2020 Brosseau Chenin for Yeah!
For the Mendo Chenin- I recently popped a D&R 2019 and it was crazy!
Summer Salters III; even better than I remembered from last year. Incredible nose of strawberry, cranberry, herbs, and crushed slate. I am glad I saved a couple of bottles. Bring on SS IV!
Thank you! The III is really really good.
I think people are going to be psyched for the IV. It is a very happy wine!!
One other thing- We are excited to get our first reviews from JebDunnuck.com in the latest Santa Cruz Mountains report. It was a joy to taste with Virgnie Boone. She had nice things to say about the wines.
2022 Santa Cruz Mountains Marianaâs Vineyard M-CF (Cab Franc, Merlot)
95 points
2023 Marianaâs Vineyard Chardonnay
96 points
Weâve included those in the spring release for those that want to reload or try them for the first time.
Glad to get an order in this morning, and put more Mourvèdre in the cellar!
Thank you, David! You are going to dig the Mourvèdre Yeah! It is part old school D&R brightness and another part Yeah! length, depth. It is a beautiful wine.
Hardy, we do miss loading up on your winesâŚbut we enjoy watching your continuing evolution as wine-maker, marketing genius, and psycho-spiritual psychedelic merry pranksterâŚpure pleasure in the mouth, but such a masterful pied piper for the nose. Lead onâŚ
I have to say - joining the Club and getting the order ahead of time is well worth it. Never a bad purchase from the YEAH! crew!
Thank you so much!!! I hope the 19 Evangelho was showing well!!!
Thank you! The club makes it very very easy.
2021 Nightlight Red. 68% Del Barba Old Vine Mourvèdre, 28% Rosewood Old Vine Carignane, 4% AT Vineyard Zinfandel.
It really doesnât get more âyeahâ than this. Pop n pour. This is a seamless wine, smooth and bright, contemplative and way too easy. The Mourvèdre is clearly the star (as long as the yeah/D&R Mourvèdre model is what youâre thinking of - this one maybe reminds me of Enz more than others, even though I know the Evangleho is closer geographically, both being Contra Costa county?)
Hits the spot, thatâs for sure.
2021 Local Election. 30% Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, 22% Brosseau Vineyard Grenache, 22% Brosseau Vineyard Chenin Blanc, 20% Del Barba Mourvèdre, 6% Wild Horse Valley Chardonnay
Paired with takeout Indian - garlic naan, Murgh Makhani, Murgh Tandoori, and Lamb Seekh Kebab Tandoori. Was hungry and forgot to take a picture with the food!
â45 minute decant. Nose shows piquant cranberry, wild strawberry, tangerine peel, and pastille. A burst of exuberant wild berries flashes like an asteroid across the ethereal palate, then turns tart with sour cherry, cumquat, and exotic citrus accents. Citrus peel reappears on the finish with a layer of fine tannins, lemon pith, and minerals that linger long. Drinking well but not in any danger of fading soon. 92 points.â
Classic EDWCY wine⌠too bad I only purchased two and this was the last bottle.
