What wines have you bought by the box?

I tried something called Black Cat (I think) merlot last week from a box. I did not like it.

We took a couple of boxes of La Vieille Ferme on a kayak trip this summer, along with a number of other wines decanted into Platypus plastic containers. Everyone in the group liked it. It fit better in the surroundings than much more expensive wines.
I’ve learned from previous trips to stay away from anything that may have been oak chipped, which means just about any US box wine.

Yeah, I don’t think Merrill puts the Black Cat in a box!

I bought a box of Pinot Grigio from Target - don’t remember the brand - and ended up using it for many weeks thereafter for cooking.
