15.5% alc, and you feel every single permille. I preferred earlier renditions such as 2020 at 14%.

2019 Clos Cibonne Tibouren Côtes de Provence Cuvée Spéciale des Vignettes
90% Tibouren and 10% Grenache made from the estates oldest vines which are more than 40 years old. Aged for 12 months in 100 year old oak casks. 3rd and final bottle. Opened poolside. Salmon color. A heavier and fuller Rose which is built more for food in my opinion. Crazy nose of lavender, cloves and cinnamon. Loaded with spices and deep red fruit. Finished with a buttery texture. 92 points.

2025 Christophe Avi Agenais Rosé
Another $14 buy. Raspberry/strawberry with a hint of sweetness. Would purchase again.
This Canard rose’ is one of my favs from Napa. Peach skin, watermelon and a hint of black tea. Love this stuff.
2025 Apollo's Praise Gamay Noir Dry Rosé Lahoma Vineyard - USA, New York, Finger Lakes, Seneca Lake (9/7/2026)
Electric pink-red hue. Watermelon, jolly rancher, mineral and acid backbone. Banger. (92 points)
Saignée method rosé from the same juice as AP’s regular Gamay. Delivers so much flavor while remaining playful. Wish I’d grabbed a pic of the glass; it really is a luminescent hue. My rosé of the summer.

We have been buying it in quantity for many years through a connection. But I believe the importer has parted with the brand, and am not sure if it will be coming in at all going forward. We are down to our last few cases.
2024 Domaines Ott Bandol Rosé Château Romassan
An age worthy Rose’. 60% Mouvedre, 20% Cinsault and 20% Grenache from 14 year old vines in the town of Le Castellet. Direct pressing with short skin contact. This property was purchased by the Ott family in 1956. Opened poolside. Very pale pink color. The balance between the fruit and the acidity was excellent . Notes of kumquat and watermelon. I liked this better than the 2024 chateau de Selles that I had earlier this year. Light to medium bodied. 94 points.
