Opened up a mag of 95 earlier this year and it had a sweet black pastille fruited core with an earthy, herbal edge and went to show you that if you wait, the oak does integrate.

Yes, first of the pinots. Have never drunk a drop of Oregon pinot. But going for a Willamette Valley visit in two weeks. Will be visiting Marcus Goodfellow first of seven producers we are seeing. Not sure what library bottles he might have available so I grabbed these from a recent offer from a retailer I trust.

Nice! What did you wind up landing on as far as other visits?
With those 19s you bought, it might work best to double decant the night before you plan to drink them - or take a small glass that first night and then drink the balance nights 2 and 3. Marcusâs wines all have an insane oxygen appetite and really open up with a long period of aeration â in both colors.
