What should one expect in terms of drinking window for Vogue (or perhaps Musigny in general)?
Classically it took forever to come around but with the new winemaking it’s likely accessible more early, although you still may want to give it quite a bit of time.

1x 2023 Domaine Jean-Marc Bouley Pommard 1er Cru, Les Rugiens-Hauts
So.. uh… not entirely sure how I found this bottle but I’m told this is apparently one of the @William_Kelley Infinity Stones? I’ve never had anything by this producer and am not familiar with them, but since this is one of only 10-15 wines that WK has apparently ever given 100 points to in Burgundy, I figured I should probably 1) grab it, 2) thank my lucky stars, and 3) buy some more Bouley to discover what he’s all about.
So to that end I also bought 2 2023 Bouley Pommard villages wines online and am gonna crack one open as soon as those arrive.
Oh and if someone decides to throw a William Kelley 100-point Burgundy Retrospective someday, I’ll bring this so long as someone else shares their 2015 Leroy Musigny (someone should definitely organize this event by the way)

You should definitely start at the bottom of 2023 Bouley and what you are likely to realize quickly is that it’s and exceptional vintage at the address. There were I believe 4 barrels of Rugiens Haut total so I’d hang on to that one a while.
