I was down to my last bottle, and very happy to find two more.

Was figuring Iâd see this post from you after the CC Tremblay offer was marked Sold. lol
Iâm sure everyone will be thrilled with my cart today at Costco. Wine, gasoline and six bottles of daily drinker type stuff.
The right end cap actually excites me a little. Pecorino is something Iâm seeing with increasing frequency in the States, and this looks to be maybe a little elevated above Collefrisioâs typical bottling. Thinking about pairing it with some smoked trout tonight.
The other stuff is frankly pretty pedestrian, though the Kirkland CdP and Suscol Vineyard cabernet are phenomenal QPR. And Iâm interested in seeing what kind of white Bordeaux allows $6.99 (less 10% case discount) Ohio pricing.
Now back to working on my website for my new oenology tourism venture. Website design, ugh. Hadnât realized what a slog it would be.
In addition to the 2 '08 Guy Charlemagne VV BdBâŠ
2 2016 Cristal
1 more magnum of N.V. Robert Allait Champagne CuvĂ©e Prestige which lord knows I donât need, but this is a steal at $90 and you can never have enough magnums of champagne (although I must be getting close).
Have you had the 16 Cristal yet? I saw some attractive offers for it recently.
No, but I donât love them young, so I rarely try them before buying.
Although tempted by @MChang I had to pass on the Millot for now.
Trying to get some bubbles in during this brief shipping window. Local shop still picked over
Bereche Brut Reserve
Laurent Perrier Cuvée Rosé
Perrier-Jouet Blason Rosé (no idea why but feel slightly guilty for liking this as much as I do)
Hebrart Selection Premier Cru Brut
I think the wines are going to be sold through in the us market soon after LP. Saratoga had more than 10 cases of most of the wines and theyâre gone now.
I canât have it all, sadly. I did get some 23 Millot already though
Makes sense but I think a lot of people are going to regret not buying more millot.
Would honestly love to have more of most everything I buy haha
I mean in terms of price stability.
The pecorino turned out to be weird stuff indeed. Very different from my previous experience with a Collefrisio pecorino, yet with commonalities. Colorless. Frizzante, with an intense nose of apricot, peach, lime zest, basil and fennel. On the palate quite nice acid, flavors consistent with the nose, but also with an umami mushroom and almost spoiled meat character that somehow is nonetheless very pleasant. Less than 6 months old. Has to change a lot with time.
Much fruitier and less herbaceous than the older bottle I had from these people. Really looking forward to drinking more pecorino. Itâs unlike anything else Iâve tasted.
This is a winner! Whereâd you find it?
Cc
I just picked up a couple as well. I love Billecart-Salmon, but thereâs surprisingly little information out there on this cuvĂ©e. I couldnât even find any mention of it on their own website.
Between it being my daughterâs birth year and the graphics matching her name I had to
CostCo sells Tremblay?! Sign me up!! (kidding
)
If I spent more time in Commerce Corner acquiring even more bottles thereâd be ah, domestic consequencesâŠ![]()
