Not exactly a recent purchase, but an upcoming shipping notification jogged my memory that I’d bought two bottles of 2000 Vilmart Champagne Cuvée Créations.

I recall a glowing report on this wine here some time ago from @AstridKG , so I’m looking forward to finally trying them.

Anyone else buy anything from the Zelma Long Cellar sold via The Redd Collection out of Santa Rosa,

I started with a case of older Heitz and have since gone back for more. Michael Carpenter has been excellent to work with.

So far have opened:

1968 Heitz Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

1976 Heitz Bella Oaks

1979 Chateau Margaux

All pristine, the 68 rather exceptional.
