What is YOUR most recent wine purchase? (Part 2)

Shop found some more 2023 Mugnier Les Fuees, so I snagged another bottle.

Picked up a couple of the 2017 Esmonin Ruchottes Chambertin on the glowing recommendation from @MChang. Figured it was well worth a shot at that price.

Found a bottle of 2023 Vincent Dauvissat La Forest in one of my favorite shops and decided to support the local economy.

Just arrived. They look like liquid gold, @larry_schaffer.

One of my favourite producers. Bienvenues, Blanchot-Dessus, Dents-de-Chiens and Aubues are yearly must-picks for me.

What’s it going for these days? I grabbed a bunch for $120 a few years ago.

The 2017 was $175 with no sales tax at Mission.
The 2023 is listed at $165 at JJ Buckley but that isn’t private client price, so likely can be had for a little less. I just grabbed a few 2017 for now

Contrary to popular belief, I also sometimes buy Bordeaux :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Also got some champagne and sake for good measure.

You’re in NC, right? If so, not found, someone passed on their allocation. Might have been me  Enjoy!

Ah thank you! Yeah the shop owner said someone probably passed on some.

After not buying anything for a minute, I caved and bought a built-in vertical from Envoyer:

08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 16 Dujac Morey St. Denis Villages. One bottle each.

I caved and got a couple 2021 Bruno Clair Bonnes Mares. Just too good a price to pass up.

How did you guys get on the “list”? I mean @William_Kelley I was his supporter from the start (2017 Beau Rivage) and I didn’t get any offer??? What up? :man_shrugging:

Thatcher is the sole US importer that I’m aware of. WK doesn’t offer direct allocations AFAIK.
