More? Nice. Have you tasted that yet?

Nope, won’t open any for 5-7 years. I have a lot of these from a variety of vintages. Will probably open the 17 with the drc and hudelot next year.

I have a grand total of 1 2017 JJ Confuron RSV so I look forward to your review next year with interest :grinning:

Got it. Wasn’t sure if you had tasted at some point - like Paulee or something.

Nope

Not a bottling I have ever seen here in NZ. We get the entry level Les Tours Grenache Blanc and then the Fonsalette Blanc and the Rayas Blanc.

Please try one and post a note

Will do when I get to my cellar in Feb. @Asger_L_a_r_s_e_n I suspect we get them from the same source. Did you break into the 15’s?

Yes I am sure we did
I only have 2010 in the cellar - purchased again after tasting a bottle.
I think it is great value at 48 euro.
It is a very different style than the Bourgogne Blanc I otherwise have in the cellar. Powerful and intense matching powerful dishes - I would call it a white wine for fall/winter time

great list - wish it was me

Yes, I pay this allocation with a lot of extra gratitude each year =) Rayas is my ‘last supper wine’ for sure

Rayas also close to my heart, but I have zero in my cellar, need to hunt for some.
However I do enjoy the Tours as well, if not in the same league, eyeballing a 1998 Grande Reserve to drink soon…

Agree - I adore the full range as well! Had the 1999 Vacqueras a few years back, and the 04 a few weeks back - absolutely stunning both of them

I think Vacqueyras overdelivers within the lineup. I’ve been less impressed with Fonsalette for the price, as a rule and often prefer the Vacqueyras
