What is YOUR most recent wine purchase? (Part 2)

I bought some 1978 Gruard Larose last year, love these old Cordier bottles!

Good to hear. I have my fingers crossed on these. Modest cost to roll the dice on Anniversary year wine. :wine_glass:

Like Pokémon; you got to try and collect them all.

Napa/Cali >>> all the rest. You can’t drink Port as a cellar staple or even Piedmont wines that are going to be hit and miss. But you could drink 77 California every day if you can get your hands on it. Great vintage. All IMO of course.

WHOA

I do love this vintage of Baudry, just had another 2021 Grezeaux this week. Have not tried the Croix Boissee yet, bet it’s fantastic!

We had an outstanding ‘85 Tuesday and the ‘83 that followed was clearly also going to be great but for being terribly corked.

Good to hear! Seeing all of DaleW’s notes, the seemingly high rate of TCA on the 83 l’Evangile was my biggest hesitation on pulling the trigger but I decided to roll the dice.

Some Donnhoff Chardonnay from 2021, 22 and 23.

Been digging the 2022s, so loaded up more.

I impulsively bought a bottle of Copenhagen Sparkling Tea and am trying to figure out what to do with it.
