I agree with others about the cinnamon/hash comparisons. Except that I’ve never had hash. Vosne spice reminds me of my Malaysian friend Sharon who used to make molasses cookies spiked with pot, and she’d feed them to her British husband’s Quaker Nonna. (Well actually, she fed them to US, but Nonna always had some too. It was sort of a super-secret joke.) What she didn’t realize until one famous birthday party was that Nonna knew and always looked forward to the cookies.
