24 vintages of Mount Eden Pinot Noir (and 8 vintages of the Martin Ray Pinot Noir from beforehand)
My longest is Memento Mori Flagship Blend from 2011-2018. Too bad I can’t find a bottle of 2010 to fully complete my collection!
Closest I have to a vertical are consecutive Champagne releases. I’m pretty adamant about avoiding certain vintages in general, so tough game for me.
Edmunds St. John Rocks & Gravel - 8 vintages
Thinking back in 40+ years of collecting, I’ve never purchased wine just to have a vertical of a particular one. I’m now on my 2nd collection as I drank my way through my first one which I accumulated from 1979-late 80s.
FWIW, I have 35 different ESJ wines. I’m not sure what you’d call that!
Larry, I’d call that two more ESJ wines than I have, and a lot fewer than Steve has.
Now we know what he’s been doing since “Man From Atlantis” and “Dallas”…
Château Bel Air-Marquis d’Aligre, 9, Réyane et Pascal Bouley Volnay 1er Cru Champans, 8, Copain Syrah Brosseau Vineyard, 8, Vincent Paris Cornas La Geynale, 6.
Working at Marc Sorrel Hermitage Le Gréal, but only at five vintages.
Pride Cabernet ‘09-‘17
Roy Piper cabernet sauvignon back to 2010.
Greer cabernet sauvignon back to 2008.
Andremily syrah back to 2012.
Holy smokes, people, there are some insane veriticals here.
Mine is of Eyrie Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2011-2016.
I imagine that will keep growing indefinitely, assuming I can keep my hands off the '11s as they start to really come in.
Ridge Montebello from 1980 to 2014.
3 cases.
An interesting question and a few surprises when I counted up:
Leoville Barton 53
Pio Cesare 43
G. Borgogno 42
Prieure-Lichine 41
Beaucastel (rouge) 40
Vieux Telegraphe 40
That’s pretty amazing, you have 40+ vintages of six different wines.

I honestly thought he had died after Stan shot and killed Scuzzlebutt. Glad to see he’s still collective verticals.
34 Clape Cornas over 46 years
Wow!

So when is Mr. Duffy having us all over to open one of those verticals? That’s amazing to me. Would love to see a picture of your cellar.
I’m not sure if this topic has already been visited, but could not find it with a search.
