Anyone jumping on all that well aged and stored DN at original cost? Looks like a great deal.
honestly I was going to comment negatively that the guy spammed 3 threads with that offer, but neglected to offer them in the proper forum on this board … Commerce Corner

Grilled some Coleman center cut rib chops before 9ers-Seahawks game. This bottle of Pinot was delicious and provided some comfort seeing the 9ers play so crappy.
Finished balance of OG N133 Chardonnay- fantastic next day too.
- 2018 de Négoce Pinot Noir OG N.171 - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (1/3/2026)
Popped and poured with dinner and Niners- Seahawks game.
Nose: Earthy dark fruit, allspice mix in whiffs of wild strawberry. Took awhile for these bottles to become aromatic- pleasantly so now.
Color: See through ruby.
Palate: Medium + body with gobs of strawberry, some cola, bracing acidity at 14.5% alc Pinot. This is quite delicious and glad to have saved these in the cellar rotation. One of my favorite de Negoce Pinots so far. Bargain at $15/bottle back in 2021. (92 points)

N.50 2018 Walla Walla Cabernet. PnP with beef tenderloin and some fancy potatos. This was great. 93pts. I actually PnP a N.40 diamond mountain cab 2 days ago for company and it was not a hit. Wish I opened this N.50 for them instead.
Tim,
Sorry about the 49’ers. ![]()
Are you reviewing 171 Sonoma Coast, or, 176 RRV?
Cheers ![]()
My notes say to open N.50 in 2028…so I’ve still got a full case.
Gotta try one.
My review of 50, last spring:
Over 4.5 years in the bottle, 3/12. Pulled the cork 2 hours in advance.
Still a muted nose, it IS definitely starting to show better. Deep dark Leather and mild dark fruits. Did I say Dark? This seems to be built to last! Probably much better in 2028, 10 years after vintage.
I’m going to keep enjoying this yum+
interesting darkhorse periodically over time.

Lot 504 from original release:
“Lot 504 is truly one of a kind. Granted the directive and creative freedom to showcase their winemaking talents to pair with fine dining without the usual appellation restrictions of their in-house offerings, the result is an extraordinary Bordeaux-style marriage of 54% Napa and 46% Sonoma fruit – a gorgeous blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, and 3% Malbec. Not even available through their tasting room or web store, the only place one could previously access this was at a handful of select restaurants, where you’d have the privilege of shelling out over $100/bottle.”
This is available at my grocery store for $40 ( 35 if you buy 6+). Almost certainly the same wine. Obviously there was some artistic license that we recognized at the time ($100 at the steakhouse not the same as retails for $ 100).
I’ve enjoyed the 50’s I’ve had - still have 6 left I think. I’ve generally decanted at least a few hours in advance, and have seen some sediment (same with 129). Probably keep what I have left on ice for another year (figuratively).
Ohh yeah, good point I got a mouthful of sediment as well as I wasn’t expecting it and my wife poured the glass of N.50. left myself a private note in CT for next bottle.
Lot 363 “Vineyard Y” 2019 Alexander Valley Zinfandel.
I had X and Z recently, and this one is by far the best.
Delicious nose, great flavor and finish, ok mouthfeel, high alcohol.
Glad I bought 2 mixed cases…so 8 bottles of Vineyard Y, but I think I gave some away…
Made a mixed case for my meat guys. Merry Christmas to them.
Great Randy,
Be kind
to your Butcher! They are definitely VIP’s in my book….![]()
OG N.25 2018 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
5.5 years bottled, after this bottle only 6 remaining of 34. 2+ hours in the decanter, still somewhat reduced.
Black fruit & beautiful CS character evident. This double yum keeps getting better over time and with additional aeration. Last glass was the best glass.
Can age another 5 years easily. This is dark, leathery and delicious.

Lot 429 2021 Napa Valley Proprietary Red
Had this last night. Glad I checked the denegociants site and saw Scott’s note from October (I was debating decanting until I saw this). PNP and it was really tasty

Scott,
176 RRV Pinot is no bueno, as others have said- there IS something off with this wine.
171 is a beauty. Glad to have about 6 left.
Cheers, Tim
Thursday evening dinner wine with wife: She loved this Merlot too.
- 2018 de Négoce Merlot OG N.15 - USA, California, Napa Valley (1/9/2026)
Popped and poured with bistro style sandwich n fries.
Nose: Pleasant plums, spice and chocolate aromas in glass
Color: Poured dark and opaque in glass.
Palate: Swirling the wine around in mouth, picked up more dark chocolate, plums and did notice that anaheim chile note from Cam's description. Almost cinnamon like but not quite. Very enjoyable Napa Merlot. (92 points)
