Out of beer at home, saw Guinness on sale while at the grocery store, so bought a 6 pack. I enjoy a draft Guinness once in a while, but the bottled version is pretty boring. Serviceable but boring.

Nitro-cans! Honestly haven’t had one in ages but 4.2 Guinness is all about the head and mouthfeel.
My favorite though If you can find it is foreign extra. They up the abv to 7% and add more hops which makes a much livelier beer.

It’s good, but not worth the $20 for the 4 pack, imo.
If you’re curious to find out for yourself, however, I got mine at the WF on 8th and Grand Ave. DTLA.

Out of 375, this is drinking fabulously right now. Age has done this well. Still has plenty of energy. Although it tastes a little aged, by no stretch of the imagination does this taste old. Drink or Hold.

Was supposed to be a draft-only release, but thankfully they heard my bitching and whining. Like a super fresh Kolsch from the Scottish Midlands.

That Tilquin is always fantastic. Tried that Allagash White years ago and disliked it intensely.

Draft only or packaged?
I’ll find out. It was brewed at Chuckanut. We only got kegs of it for the Tap Room.

As far as I’m been able to tell, draft only. I know Oregon got only limited kegs.

2014 Sucaba from Firestone - great beer and has evolved nicely from release. Love getting to experience some beer with age on it since most beers never get aged but they definitely evolve just like wine does with tertiary notes coming out.
This one drinks like a wine and is absolutely fantastic. Tons of smoked peat flavor running throughout and incredible complexity. Honestly haven’t tasted anything quite like it before.
