And it’s topped with your Smoking Goose meats

Yesterday at lunch the restaurant had ‘24 Bedrock Heritage BTG. It was really young but stuffed with goodness.

We were in Sonoma last month and of course spent some time at the hooker house and had great tasting with Aiste ; one unexpected suprpise is when Aiste opened the 2024 Detert East Block Cabernet franc andi it was awesome; I already had gone in on some of the first 2023 release, but I did not pruchase any of the 24 and initially I was not sure I would, and why–not because I doubted it would be good, because of the price tag; That all changed after we tried it-- This wine is both powerful with dark plum and sour cherry fruit while at the same time it shows some elegance like a Loire cab franc; This wine is built to age without a doubt, and I will tell anyone with reservations due to the 190 dollar price tag–it is worth it So of course I purchased some of the 24 and then more of the 23 becasue my wife Tess , told me she would leave me if I did not giver her my credit card.

Thank you Chris and Aiste for being awesome and also opening the cab franc for us, Except that I may have to file for bankruptcy aftter that purchase. or my wife cannot buy anymore shoes, which I would be thankful for that.

Yet another huge haul of Bedrock, including some stuff from the first few vintages, on WineBid this week for anyone interested.

Good to hear. I bought some.

Finally scored a 2018 Pagani.

By the way, this site is awesome - multiple people reached out offering to just send me one if I paid shipping. Just a ton of generosity and kindness on here, really great to be a part of this community,

2008 Bedrock #2 Red. It was in great shape and paired really well with Flannery NY strip.
