You were pulling our chain, right? I mean no one with Mr. Spock as his avatar who prepares a spread sheet like that is going to have trouble with posting an image!
I’m always back filling older Bordeaux’s, but this year I plan on buying great burgs. Bottom line is fewer bottles but only the very best…no everyday drinkers.
I had the very distinct pleasure to meet WIML, if only for a brief moment. Love the .jpg and early nominee for post of the year with ‘Drink down to Zero’ for Canadian wines.
I’ve sort of reached a milestone now. After three years of collecting, I can say with confidence that I’ve solidly identified those wine regions I want to follow in depth, and those producers I want to follow every year (barring very off-years, like 2007 in Bordeaux). I will still experiment in 2010, but on a much smaller scale. In other words, I already know exactly what I will buy for the vast majority of my 2010 purchases.
Yeah,I will continue to hear that laughter as the year continues…just too many values to be had for low and mid level priced Nebbiolo.
Will continue to cherry pick white burgundies and red Rhones as they surface.
