Looks like a LdH blanco?

The cork description doesn’t help me any, but I’ll guess Marcassin.

That would normally lead me to Huet but the sawdust thing throws me.

Monopole? Famous, or infamous, estate?

Time for the reveal Buzz, a new contender Which bottle of spoiled SQN white wine should I taste first? for worst wines

My first thought was a Mondavi I Block but it’s been a while since I’ve opened one and I don’t remember those having the composite corks. Which reminds me that i need to get my my last ‘99 and ‘01 soon.

Sawdust corks…I’ve only experienced this in older Ca.

Aw, how many 20 year old California chards are still drinkable?

2 year old Natural wine?

Stop stealing wine from Mark B’s cellar!

I was gonna guess a Manzanillo Sherry—which is probably the closest it would come if you dared to taste it, Buzz.
