I agree. I have opened over 12 bottles of this. All were delicious and had advanced flavors and color. All from the same source. The village was also similarly advanced. The Bonnes Mares was not.

I’ve been a fan of Arlaud’s wines, especially from Morey-St.-Denis (I believe there are some Gevrey wines also from this producer) since having an exceptional M-S-D 1er cru “Les Ruchots” some years ago. The “Les Millandes” can also be quite rewarding.
