I wanted to offer an update on Wells as I spoke with him today. We’ve been friends for many years and it was great to hear his voice and hear that he’s doing better.
First off, he wanted to say thank you for the donations to the GoFundMe which has been helpful and allowing him to meet the demands of the medical costs that went along with what happened to him. He still trying to attack that piece of his life and financially recover…and people that have been through this kind of a thing, the medical aftermath can be a financial nightmare.
Physically it sounds like he’s recovered well and is back to trying to earn a living and doing some things in the wine business, with an eye towards more long-term.
The donations page is still alive and so if you have an interest in continuing to help or do something to help, please do. But ultimately know that he’s doing better and he thanks everyone for the support that they showed in different phone calls and emails and other things that have come into him and he’s finally just trying to come up for air so thank you everyone.
