Time for our second quarterly WB online. The theme of this event is the 2016 bordeaux vintage, comparing it to other vintages and how it’s developing. Our lead speakers will be our local bordeaux experts @Mark_Golodetz and @Robert.A.Jr .
EDIT: Shortly after posting this, @Jeff_Leve has also agreed to be part of the conversation. This is going to be great!
Join us to learn about the 2016 vintage, then open up the floor to more generalized discussion with your fellow berserkers. If you have it, pop a bottle of 2016 bordeaux. Swirl, sniff, taste, and learn.
When: Thursday August 13th, 5PM PST / 8PM EST.
How: Zoom login details will be provided when we get closer to the date.
Duration: I expect it to be about 30-45 mins, but there is no hard cap.
Schedule: Intro, 15-20 mins of Mark, Jeff, and Robert speaking, Q&A, open floor discussion.
To signup, respond to this post so when there is an update you’ll be notified. Let me know if you have any questions.
It’s young. It’s fabulous. And we liked that it’s still fairly available in the marketplace. I just checked in with a Clos de Marquis, and like so many 2016s, I wish I had bought more. Still may.
And for the record, Mark is the expert, I just drink the stuff!
