Visiting Sienna at the end of March and looking for recommendations please

Will be in Siena at the end of March and looking to visit a few wineries while we are there. I like Monsanto wines and would like to include them if time traveling between wineries permits.

Also some recommendations for lunch and dinner would be great if you know of any. Good cooking classes might be fun also.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Cantina del Brunello di Montalcino was a cool little wine shop with 3 generations working. Just check CT reviews before you buy their recommendations as a couple I picked up were not the best, but most of them were nice and the shipping to the US was a lot less expensive than I thought.

We ate dinner three times at La Vecchia Taverna di Bacco at 11 Via de Beccheria . Sat outside, pretty casual spot but enjoyed everything we had. Recommended by one of our taxi drivers. I enjoyed the wild boar pasta, and the girls liked their seafood dishes.

Siena’s a great town, enjoy!

Tons of recs on the Travel thread. My favorite CC winery in the area is Villa Trasqua, set midway between Monsanto and Siena.

@moderators Can this be moved to the Travel and Wine Tourism forum before it gets too long? It’s a great resource and spreading things out dilutes it.

And this one while they’re at it.

Montenidoli is relatively close and a must-visit, IMO.

Salefino is a great wine bar in the old city, absolutely recommend. Trefilari is also good but not a standout.

Our favorite dinner was at Osteria Le Loggie. Other places I would recommend:

La sosta di violante
Pizzicheria di Miccoli Bruno
Compagnia dei Vinattieri

For sweets:
Antica drogheria Manganelli
La Nuova Pasticceria

First of all Siena not Sienna!!
For lunch you can try Il Bargello or La Compagnia dei Vinattieri, dinner Le Logge or Sale Fino.
