Correct…I was specifically talking about it as a service for shipments from a winery, i.e., my Spottswoode shipment.

It is great news. However, I think Vine Vault currently only works with a couple of wineries. They need to be “discovered”, not so much by the wineries like Spottswoode, but especially by the Napa shippers like Vinfillment, Bogega Shipping, Wine Country Shipping etc…
As you probably know, many wineries offer temperature-controlled shipping. Perhaps, they can work hand-in-hand with others to take the wines from a UPS or FedEx fulfillment center close to folks around the country and take it from there. That appears to be a missing link right now.
Yes, this is the missing part of the puzzle. The temperature controlled wine shipments from the winery take the wine from the winery to a Fedex or ups distribution point…the delivery however is on a regular non refrigerated truck. Vine Vault is delivered refrigerated to your doorstep.
