Received an email offering earlier today for Vice Versa’s 2024 single vineyard wines. Anyone have experience with or thoughts on these? Forum search didn’t yield a ton of recent posts. TIA!
There’s a bit of talk if you poke around: Vice Versa Spring Offering 23
Among the best wine in the valley IMO. They do some special things with Beckstoffer fruit in particular.
At $350 it is getting tough especially when I look back at 2019 order pricing which was ~225 if I recall correctly but I still ordered 3 bottles this time around as it really is that good.
Not sure how much further they can push the price so quickly…
Great wines for sure but got over the tips of their skis on pricing
Can find older ones at auction for much less than release price
I passed due to price
I’m out as well for the same reason, too many Napa cabs that are too high priced now.
For 50 dollars less a bought the dalla valle cabernet. I prefer the style. Got 100 pts vinous
Stellar/Special wines. New wine maker with the 2024 vintage. Sadly price will limit this years purchase to just 1 BTK and 1 DRC. It came in just under $800 all in. ![]()
Buying less “premium” wine, living healthier, and my darn money tree in my back yard isn’t producing squat……all leads to less wine purchases across the board.
I’m a big buyer this year. Every time I have a VV wine I am just blown away. 2024 is my son’s birth year so I made a bigger splash than normal, but this is one I keep buying. Hoping to make it out to their new estate in the Fall.
