I remember in college when there was a freight train that derailed outside Ann Arbor and one car was full of Zapple Apple Wine. We lived in a commune and two of our people went over with a van and picked up about a dozen cases - of gallon bottles, four to a case. I remember making chicken and rice stew with an apple wine base. Even as a college student, the stuff was vile. Made Boones Farm taste good.
