Venice Restaurant Recommendations

Looked back through the threads, but wondering if anyone has recent recommendations. Good food is really the only requirement, can be formal or casual. Thank you!

Ca d’Oro alla Vedova
This is in Cannaregio area in Venice; restaurant is a little hard to find; very informal; truly Venetian in foods and clienteles.

Their website is in Fb only.

The recent thread is pretty recent, how recent do you want?

it’s so much better to have a dedicated thread.

Recent for us was still 5 years ago, but our favorites were:

Ai Artisi, and
Riviera

Al covo near arsenale very good ,tough reservation, co owner from Texas, great wine list
Antiche carampane very Venetian, great wines, in old red light district near the infamous “ bridge of tits”, San silvestro vaporetto stop.
Love Harry’s dolci on guideca , afternoon lunch sitting aside the guidecca channel , bottle of Prosecco and looking across to Venice hard to beat. Popular with Italians celebrating special events.

Thanks for the recommendations!

haven’t been since the pandemic but this was our favorite.

The biggest change in Ai Testiere is they take reservations on line now and book up immediately… 6 weeks in advance was not enough for last June, first time I missed it in my last 10 trips to Venice (usually go twice).
