Jejeje. Just don’t mamar it.
Poo Store!
That’s just so crass.
Crass is an elision of crack ass.
Methven is sort of unusual.

Chateau de la Roche
Isn’t that just a dingy apartment in ny?

I resemble that remark. A pox on your noodles.
No, make that a roach, instead.
Methven is sort of unusual.
Not in West Virginia.
Clos des Mouches (though in the local dialect mouches means bees rather than flies)
Poo Store!
Glad there are some other Board members who are on a similar intellectual level as me.
Jack Linden: Nate Simon:Domaine de la Pousse d’Or always gives me a chuckle.
“Une pousse d’or” is the French equivalent of “a green thumb” (pousse=thumb).
The thing to bear in mind here is that in the USA, since the second language is Spanish, non-Francophone speakers will often pronounce the letter ‘e’ as ‘ay’…
This was the interpretation I found funny (I mean, c’mon, what’s not funny about “The Golden Pousse?”), but James’ version above is also excellent!
Velveeta
Nick, is that where you’d find the Hermannshohle?
A Kramer wine.

I gotta admit that I think that every time I see your label. I keep a bottle of your fabulous EVOO on the table, so that is quite often.
For info, green thumb is “pouce d’or” rather than “pousse d’or”.
Both are pronounced the same, however .
I always thought that Château Boswell was not very good (French and very British names).
Clos Pégase seems a little pretentious for California too.
Clos de la Poussie in Sancerre?
