Two Restaurants in Italy That I Will Revisit

On this trip there are two very special and value oriented restaurants that I will revisit at some point.
Fresh food. Local ingredients. Fantastic fresh pastas.

In Florence, 4leoni or quattroleoni.
A trattoria across the Ponte Vecchia from the Uffizi.
Absolutely stunning pastas and the best bruschetta a pomodoro of my life.

In Milan, Osteria dei Binari.
8 euro for a gorgeous plate of breseola with parmgianno.
6 euro for a plate of perfect saffron rissoto with homemade milanese sausage.
A fantastic wine list loaded with local wines.
This is special too.

Both for lunch which is the best time to me.

Pretty typical time for Sicilian dinning. When we were there this summer, we couldn’t get in most places until at least 8 or 9.
