We are heading to Scotland this summer for a golf-single malt scotch trip. Any thoughts or recommendations?
Seen this? My info would be decades out of date…

Whisky-wise - if you are on the west coast I can recommend a shop called Loch Fyne Whiskies in Inveraray…good selection with some rare stuff available, and if you seem keen they don’t mind pulling out some samples to try - quite a few in fact. Nice guys as well and very knowledgable about their whisky. Talisker and Oban each have nice tours and tasting rooms with some things not readily available elsewhere (esp. at Talisker). Dalwhinnie Distillery is beautifully (and a bit remotely, for Central Scotland) located and a nice lighter whisky. Royal Mile Whiskies in Edinburgh is outwardly touristy but they also know their stuff depending on who’s working that day.
