I’ve never gotten a total wine coupon in TX. Are they limited to certain states?
Most of the WD wines I’ve had were awful compared to comparably priced stuff elsewhere, but I wasn’t very discerning about wine at the time. My local total wines are at least good about getting limited bourbons and not inflating the price. Just have to be lucky.
When the one near me opened they blanketed the area to get awareness. Then they encourage you to download the app and join the loyalty club. After that the coupons and discounts come digitally. There’sa big sign when you walk in telling you to check your app for discounts. I’m sure State laws probably vary to some extent as to how they can do things. Everything else about wine and spirits does
TW also customizes their offers according to your purchase history. So you may get an offer that your neighbor may not. BevMo does this also. Another hint is to check the local ad section on their website. Often really good coupons show up there. My purchases are primarily beer and spirits while wine sourced elsewhere.
If you don’t have a coupon just ask at checkout. Usually they provide one better than what I have

Beer is good. A couple of steps above regular American domestic lagers. Sort of a much better Miller High Life. Light, 5.2 ABV, crisp and a nice tangy finish.
