So Cognac fans, if you were traveling to Cognac which producers would you visit and/or purchase?

It is my understanding that the lot number signifies either the vintage or the average age of the blend, I’m not sure which. Lot 76 is a great QPR. Lot 53 is outstanding, but not cheap. Lot 29 has a little more age on it than I prefer.
For what it’s worth, Robert Parker raved about both Lot 53 (98 points) and Lot 29 (100 points)
These are imported into the US, but you do need to hunt a little to find them. Binny’s in the Chicago area carries several Tesseron cognacs.
