Welcome! That is a GREAT top 10!
Some changes here in just over a year…
- Julian Haart / Keller
- Max Kilburg
- Hofgut Falkenstein
- Lopez de Heredia
- Peter Wagner
- Unterlind / Latour-Giroud
- Egon Muller / de Moor
- Mugnier / Guffens-Heynen
- Duroché / Jean-Marc Bouley / Mas Daumas Gassac
- Dureuil-Janthial / Les Carmes Haut-Brion / Domaine de la Pusse d/Or
Shared places as this is all approximate. I still don’t keep accurate records. Surprised there’s not more Burgundy here, but then my buying there is more spread out.
March 2024:

- Dureuil-Janthial / Bel Air Marquis d’Aligre
Relatively new to the wine game - got into it during the pandemic. I honestly didn’t expect this mix when I ran the numbers, but it’s quite interesting. I’ve been cutting back on US wines over the last year or so and allocating more to France and Italy, so I imagine those will grow.

Fun thread. Mine doesn’t surprise me too much, mainly makes me sad because so much of it is decades away from being ready to drink
- Montrose (includes a decent amount of Dame)
- Leoville Barton (would’ve thought this was #1)
- Haut-Bailly
- Pontet Canet
- Domaine de Chevalier
- Pichon Lalande
- Grand Puy Lacoste
- Lagrange (bumped into the top 10 by some insane wine.com deals back in the glory days)
- Produttori
- Malartic Lagraviere (mildly surprising)
No real surprises here, it’s pretty much all Riesling

Hi Steve, thanks for the insight! A cursory scroll suggests I have had the good fortune to sample several producers scattered throughout the @Robert_Panzer portfolio, and it now seems I will be forging a closer bond with messieurs Audoin and Lafouge. I do happen to be a great admirer of the more “humble” villages of Burgundy, in fact I likely drink more such wines than any other the world over, and my cynicism is frequently checked by the abundance of quality I encounter (most recently by a Marsannay from Domaine du Vieux College, unbelievable depth and interest for €25). Make no mistake, my pursuit is ceaseless. I will fill this absurd bingo card of vineyards before my time is up. I may grumble only because I am haunted by the knowledge that one could snag some Nuits-Saint-Georges for less than a plane ticket only a handful of years ago.
This is probably close to accurate:
- Cheval Blanc
- Ch Margaux
- Jadot
- Faiveley
- Conseillante
- Donnhoff
- Huet
- Krug
- Extradimensional
- Kelley Fox
That is a lot of Peter Wagner in one year?
- Kinsman Eades
- Bedrock
- Realm
- Rhys
- Leoville Barton
- Beta
- Lisini
- Produttori del Barbaresco
- Fingers Crossed
- Myriad
Man, that was not surprising but also not what I mentally pictured. I feel too heavy on Cali!
Had some already, but got some great deals (also some back vintages) so bought a lot of bottles. Across the full range. Fantastic wines and as to QPR, you can’t really do better imo
Mailing lists get you!
They really do. The fomo is real
