Tonight we had a nice tuna salad - seasoned with mayonnaise, capers in balsamic, SI Salad Herbs, onion powder, and granulated garlic; on mixed greens, dressed with a Champagne Vinagrette, seasoned with onion pepper, SI Salad Herbs, onion powder, celery seed, and a bit of granulated garlic. Wine was a 2005 Domaine Michel Lafarge Bourgogne Passetoutgrain ‘L’Exception’ - fill under the capsule, cork barely stained; good red and dark fruit, barely adequate acidity; with a medium long fruity finish. Except for low acidity, the wine was enjoyable with the salad.
