2005 Kutch Pinot Noir Russian River Valley - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (2/10/2010)
15.0% alcohol. No reason not to drink up. Black cherry color. Fragrant nose of black cherry, blackberry jam, spice, and minerals. In the mouth, plush and caressing, with a very soft mouth feel. A jammy edge to the fruit, but the acidity juts out a touch – I think stoked a bit by the touch of heat that pokes through on the finish. Still very pleasant to drink. A- -

14.4% alcohol. Clean, pure, with great Russian River expression. Black cherry and spice. Juicy and vibrant. A-
