One of the very best wines I’ve ever had was a 1962 Tahbilk Cabernet Sauvignon Bin 26.
I had a Tahbilk 1984. When the wine was decanted, the leftover whole bottle was coated a deep crimson, and the wine was very, very good. No great elegance, but big flavored and a long finish. Last bottle of a case, I wish I had kept the rest longer.
