TN's: Giscours 2000

Muscular texture yet feminine mouth-feel upon entry, delivering a palate and nose of rich, deep red fruits. Ensuing waves
of brown spice, cured tobacco, and mild oak, amid finely rounded tannins. A pitch-black core to the eye. Its rim is a
youthful red reminiscent of a barrel sample, not a wine exceeding ten years of age. The finish as long as an ocean dive.
Pure silk in a glass.

Thanks for the note Victor, though I’m not sure if it’s ready to drink or not…

Nobody complained at dinner last night. The wine as always been a pop-and-pour hedonistic delight. Never
a hard showing during the past nine years.

Lovely note Victor

Thanks, although the wine was much better in person.

Thanks for the note, Victor. Sounds just dandy! I recall trying this upon release and really loved its promise. Seems to be fulfilling that promise today. Glad I bought a full case, back when most cru classes were more affordable for me, about $35 per bottle.

I bought two cases for $30/bottle, and am down to a bit more than one. What a bargain.

I’m sure I have some ofthis tucked away somewhere. Happy to say I haven’t touched a bottle yet. Perhaps 2012 will be the year for that?

Very nice note. Wish I had bought a bunch!
