I am seeing Taillefer more locally now but have yet to try one. The 2012 Pomerols seem to get nice comments. thanks for the notes.

Conseillante is such a gorgeous drink. Have not had the 2006, sounds awesome.

The 1981 Conseillante was my favorite wine over a long weekend last week with many mature Bordeaux and other interesting drinks. So pretty even for a so-called lesser vintage.

Great notes; thanks for posting

It seems like the no name Pomerols are a safer bet than many other wine making regions unknowns. Of course even the lesser known ones (or at least to the American market) are still not objectively bargains. It’s one of the only places I’d spend $30-$40 on unknown estates.
