Another reminder of why I love Saxum–rich, unctuous, purple fruits, velvet in the mouth, long finish, really coming along. No reason to wait if you decant for an hour or two. (95 pts.) -

Something decidedly Californian about this–if I hadn’t known it was Oregon, I would have thought Sonoma Coast. Rich, fruity, spicy. Liked it a lot. (93 pts.) -

Tight and tannic. Needs a few years. Flavors and depth of structure are there, just need to be patient. (91 pts.) -

Has really come around since the last bottle. Laser focused beam of acidity, coated in honeysuckle and citrus. Such a terrific bottle of wine and great QPR. (91 pts.) -

Plums and licorice and some white pepper on top. Medum body, clean finish. (90 pts.)
