Just some recent bottles that all delivered.

2017 Domaine Bernard & Thierry Glantenay Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (12/22/2021)
Just a joy to drink right now. Open, giving ripe ripe red berry fruit, some cassis, surrounded by forest floor. Easy to drink with an umami note and pleasing palate presence. Good at this level and an excellent Tuesday night sip! -
NV Egly-Ouriet Champagne Grand Cru Brut Tradition - France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru (12/20/2021)
Oct. 2020 Disg.
More of an amber hue to the yellow this time. Leesy. Citrus. Butter bread with air. Really fine as it opens up. Chalky. Easy drinking, but contemplative, too. A wine that should show more richness with cellar time. It really asks for air/time at this point. -
2016 Marc Colin et Fils Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru (12/18/2021)
Light, vibrant color. White Burgundy nose. Fresh. A good bit of energy and verve. Hints of matchstick. sweet orchard fruit. Very clean. Acidity really comes on as does a strong saline note that draws me back for another sip. Clenches pretty tight on the back end. very good with some room to grow a bit.
