In rearranging mu cellar I found a few bots of 09 Bourgogne, so I thought a good time to pop them.
2009 Hudelot-Noellat Bourgogne Rouge
A bit cloudy. Some mirepoix celery salt coolness. Fairly strict acidity. Reasonable drink but little upside.
2009 JC Boisset Bourgogne "Les Dames Haguettes"
Quite dark and youthful in appearance. This has a coolness to it, but also has mid palate richness, brimming with brambly dark fruits. Blind you might pick it as a nice Village or Premier Cru from a cooler vintage. Very tasty, still with heaps of upside.
