This past weekend, with the temperatures reaching 97,Sherri and I turned our attention to creating some curry and I thought it only proper to accompany it with some ageworthy Zind Humbrecht.
So,after a few hours of pleasant spice arrangement while sipping on the ZH 1990 Brand Riesling VT we sat down with some cool salad, garbonzo bean and chicken with a Malti Masala.
My daughter and friend soon arrived either accidentally or propitiously,I couldn’t determine which, and so I brought out another 90,the Clos Jebsal Tokay Pinot Gris VT.
The Riesling Brand was superbly rosy, off dry and full of sweet stone fruits that complemented our emerging curry.
The Jebsal displayed the compelling ZH qualities of dryness and sweet honey that combine admirably and singularly with a racy acidity that belie its depth and richness.A real treat and an excellent foil for our meal.
Daughter and friend were all smiles as well!
