Anyone had this? Thoughts? Thanks.
WS and Suckling scored it well FWIW. Moreover to my taste Tignanello is incredibly consistent and always right in my wheelhouse. This does not answer your question but I would not hesitate to buy the ‘15 even if I had not tasted.

It’s always in my wheelhouse also. I was just wondering if the high scores could be the result of irrational exuberance.
I’ve had it (but haven’t had much other tig for reference) - it’s big, remarkably tannic and thus a little tough rather than plush or velvety. It does come off like a left bank bdx with extra cherry rather than sangiovese alone, which sometimes carries a bit of astringency young. I really liked it, one of those wines (like a 2014 opus I enjoyed recently) that seems to be built with the specific intent of aging. I don’t think enthusiasm is irrational if you like the style. It was the best wine at a small tasting recently, think I scored it 95
Thanks for the first hand account. Sounds like it will be a good ten year wine.
