TNR: 2009 Oregon Pinot and/or Evesham Wood WV

I bought a case of the 2009 EW WV PN (how’s that for acronym overload?) and cracked one early. I would concur with the input above. A bit locked down right now but with some air time really quite pleasant. Nice red fruits, good acid and structure, and outperforms it’s price point as per usual. With the case discount at around $15 a bottle you get a hand crafted wine that actual has some nice expression of terrioir about it . . . In another 6 months should be nicely into the drinking window and I think should reward consumption for another 2-3 years. Not sure how much more you can ask for at this price point.

All the EW wines are no-brainers to me. Hopefully Erin will keep the tradition (and business model) alive. . . I’m just pleased these wines appeal still seems to elude many as I haven’t had any issues with availiability yet, and the pricing is remarkably stable of the last 5-10 years . . .
