    More of a WTSO paean than anything else…at $20 (last week) this was wonderful…I suspect it’s hard to screw up Hayne Vyd grapes (the Chase family owns it, after all), but at this price it’s a wonder. Very fruit-forward, medium-weight. Not much of the spice component that Zin can be known for, but for “what it is,” a great bottle. [winner.gif]

BTW, they can’t ever expect to sell this at retail…the laser-etched label would be indecipherable on a shelf! hitsfan

BTW2-I reserve my 92 Zin scores for Carlisles and Holdredges…and maybe a Scherrer or six… (92 pts.)

They don’t own all of the Hayne Vyd. It was split so turkey has half and Chase has half. Iirc. Either way $20 is a steal for that wine
