Comparing a wine to a woman is novice wine criticism at its prosaic worst . . . last night’s bottle of Turley was like a tarted-up young harlot in a low cut top, complete with CGI-enhanced cleavage and a come-hither smile. The combination of her near-acrid perfume and the vapid feeling nearly every moment spent next to her causes was simply too much to overcome. You just can’t deny that fact that while “the idea” of her seems to work, maybe it just doesn’t work for you. Sorry baby. 84 points
