Tua Rita Perlato del Bosco Vino da Tavola 2004:
Lots of smoke and black fruits on the nose. Took a while to calm down actually. Started off very wound-up, untamed even. Black plum, blackberries, melted licorice and shaved black truffles make up a nice combination. For all of the smoky, funky qualities the wine boasts it also manages to come off smooth and silky, with velvety tannins and good, pure, polished fruit. Should continue to get better for the next few years. Good now with a thirty to forty-five minute decant. 90 points
