This wine has opened up quite a bit, and is really showing great character. It’s got that “velvet” quality that Bouchard always claims, but the nose is a little simple and the secondary character would really help this out. Awesome fruit character and great acidity. Awesome QPR cellar wine.
This is about the 100th or so 2007 red I have had this point, and I must say, the vintage is growing on me.
What is your take on the reds???
Just for kicks, I checked to see if there was any critic reviews, and the only publication that has scored the wines thus far was the Wine Advocate. For those that don’t know, Pierre Rovani is involved in this winery. Conflict of interest???
