Cracked this tonight, regretably:
- PaolaScavino Sorriso DOC: Langhe (13.5%; Chard/Sauvignon/Viognier) 2013: Very light yellow color w/ filmy scum of tiny bubbles on the surfact; light stony/earthy slight floral/Viog very low-key nose; brisk/citric thin/insipid slight metallic/stony slight spritz flavor; med.short brisk/citric/stony vapid/insipid finish; one small step above SanPellegrino; a pretty vapid/insipid white overly freshned w/ CO2; like an incredibly dull Soave w/ CO2. $18.00 (AV)
A wee BloodyPulpit:
- This Sorriso was the perfect accompaniment w/ the glass of water I had.
