    Drinking from split. Initially very tight… decanted for 30 mins.
    Lots of oak… too much… wow. There’s some chocolate notes… Tannins are manageable.
    Biggest problem - holy wood… big fat 2x4 wood. not sure if this needs more time in bottle, or just way overoaked. This is “ok at best”… so 82pts (82 pts.)

traditionally a bottle that requires real time sideways. revisit this in 2020 or so and see if you have changed your mind.
